Advanced Design:  Students develop advanced skills in creating interactive media, Web sites, presentations/projects, and Web sites using industry standard application software.  Students incorporate principles of layout and design in completing publications and projects.  Students design portfolios that may include business cards, newsletters, mini-pages, Web pages, multimedia presentation/projects, calendars, and graphics.  Completion of this course may prepare students for industry certifications, and publications for print and electronic distribution.  Students work with sophisticated hardware and software, applying skills learned to real-world projects.  Completion of this course may prepare students for industry certifications.

 

Supplies needed by the student: Pencil, Paper, Binder or Folder

 

Grading Criteria: The following will be used to determine grades:

 

  1. Classwork / Homework – weighted 1 time each
  2. Quizzes – weighted 2 times each
  3. Projects – weighted 1-3 times each
  4. Problem Tests (Info Tech) – weighted 3 times each
  5. Reinforcement exercises – weighted 1 time each
