DESCRIPTION:   During this workshop, participants will be introduced to strategies that can be implemented in the general education classroom to support students who have mastered grade-level standards. These strategies will be aligned with the program options outlined in the Gifted and Talented Education program description (WCPS Local Plan for the Education of the Gifted 2013-2018). Strategies will address service options including content, process, & product differentiation; curriculum compacting; acceleration and enrichment possibilities; and individual student-directed/teacher-supported projects.
